Hi, and welcome to my lead generation guide called Lead Generation 101!

Statistics indicate that an enormous 80% of all businesses fail within the first 5 years. Eighty percent! And of the survivors, another 80% fail in the next 5 years. That’s scary stuff.

But the reasons that most people will give you for this situation, are things like ‘bad management’, ‘market forces’, ‘no leadership’, ‘they didn’t listen to their accountants…’ and so on.

And while some or all of those things may have had an influence, there is one thing that every business needs to understand…

Any and every business will wither and die without a constant stream of qualified prospects coming in every day!

That is the main reason why businesses fail. More prospects contacting you means more sales, and if you have cash flow from sales then I’m convinced that you can fix almost any business problem.

But how does ‘lead generation’ differ from traditional advertising? It’s very simple.

Most traditional advertising is aimed at simply ‘building a brand or an image’ for a company. That’s fine if you have a seven figure advertising budget and you can draw a salary for an unknown number of years without necessarily making a profit, but if you’re a small to medium business owner, or you want to get into business, then you are going to need to have accountable advertising that brings you a reliable profit.
