Intro for Amazon

In today’s world when everything is moving at the speed of light, standing still simply isn’t an option anymore because there will be constant information gaps in your knowledge. Regardless of what your position in life, you have to continually grow and evolve. You have to first master the fundamentals in your field to ensure that you have a solid foundation on which to build on. Ongoing professional development has to be the new normal in our lives. And to thrive, we have to create our signature, mastering the field we operate in. And on top of that, we have to have competence in other areas as well. If we studied the inventors, innovative thinkers and scientists who had the greatest impact on our world, many had more than one area of interests.

Having more than one area of interests allows us to make connections among what may seem as unconnectables. We have more creative solutions because we are able to see and think differently. We are able to transport old ideas from one industry and meld them together in another to create something new. But to get there, first we have to become a master in our field, then we round out our knowledge by learning more about other topics of interests such as hobbies. In these topics of interest, you can strive for the Cliff Notes version of mastery, fast and sweet.

In addition, is there a topic or subject that you find boring, that would fill in any information gaps that you currently have? You can also strive for the Cliff Notes version of mastery in this topic or subject.

Suzanne Collins, the author of the bestselling The Hunger Games book trilogy, said that the Greek mythological figure Theseus influenced her book, and that protagonist Katniss Everdeen is a futuristic Theseus. While reading the story of Theseus, I smiled because I saw the parallels between both stories, and I also saw how Collins took one idea and expanded it to create something new.

Anyone can have similar experiences to Suzann Collins’ if they take the time to master their fields as well as gain competence in other areas of interests. Path to Success, Master a Subject, Become an Expert shows you how to do so quickly. I have also included a few of the Wisdom of Life Profiles I have written to give you basic knowledge about some important people from the past, as well as two SummaReviews (hybrid book reviews and summaries) to round out your knowledge. My intent is to get you started on the process to round out your knowledge to get a Masters of Practical Knowledge.

By reading the 13 Wisdom of Life Profiles, and the two SummaReviews, you’ll be amazed by how much you learn. Ongoing learning is now a way of life for those who expect to thrive, but there are creative and interesting ways to do so. Path to Success, Master a Subject, Become an Expert will assist you on your adventure in learning.

Before launching into you goal of becoming a subject matter expert, to make the most of your time allocated to learning, you have to discover the best way that you learn. There are three types of learners – visual, auditory and kinaesthetic. You also have to understand how we learn as well. You’ll learn all this and much more so you are better positioned to master any subject and be on your path to success.
