When Ted's wife, Sondra, comes to him with an adult classified and the suggestion that they try swinging, he doesn't know how to take it. He tentatively agrees, deciding to invite a couple over and let what happens, happen. Once he lays eyes on Celia, the woman he'll be entertaining, he changes his mind. He has to have her, and if he has to let another man have his own wife to get her, so be it. The couples enjoy a wonderful dinner, great wine. . .and a quadruple helping of "dessert".

EXCERPT FROM "Swingers"
Eventually we decided to move the conversation to the living room. Celia offered to go with me into the kitchen to fetch another bottle of wine, while Sondra showed Gary to the sofa. I'd no more than reached for the bottle and pulled it free from the rack and Celia was there, next to me. I felt the heat from her body, smelled her cherry blossom shampoo. My vision narrowed to contain only her, and we held one another's gazes for a moment before she leaned up on her tiptoes (and I leaned down a little) and kissed me.
Her lips were soft, full, warm. They parted as my tongue pressed against them, urgent and exploratory, and when I tasted her I felt myself getting hard. I sat the wine down on the counter and slid my hands around her waist, resting the edges of them on the swell of her hips. She pressed her hips forward, into me, melting into our kiss.
I finally came up for air, trying to clear my head. "Do we, ah, do this separately? Or together?"
She smiled, laying her head against my chest. "Together," she said. "You have a beautiful wife. I want to see her naked."
I nodded, grabbed the wine, and put an arm around Celia's slender shoulders.
