This is the second episode in the series: The Absolute Void; The Survival Guide For The One Percent.

Tribes of indigenous peoples still exist in the Americas, as do those that made the journey long before Columbus.

The crew struggles to maintain adherence to the mission's original goals. Their duties do not, however, include retaining or preserving a history that created genocide.

Caught in a new history that did not produce an industrial revolution, they struggle to survive. Soon they learn that some of those they encounter are aware of the changes made to history.

What they have yet to learn is how many players, in this new reality, are aware of the past. Episode One describes some of them, but the circumstances leading to this new reality has placed far more people in the game.

The fight for the definition of reality includes American Indians aware of the past, and prepared to prevent a return.

The original mission crew has, so far, survived. They find themselves in an altered history that has little enthusiasm for their presence. They continue to survive only as long as they assist in tracking those that funded their mission.

All of what now exists began as an attempt to identify who was manipulating history to create a method to accumulate wealth. It seems clear that anyone attempting to preserve the new history are not those they are seeking.

The situation places anyone reluctant to establish life in the new history suspect.
