The Pilgrim’s Progress (The Pilgrim’s Progress from This World to That Which Is to Come in full) by John Bunyan is an allegorical tale about a man named Christian who journey from this world to the Celestial City. And it also includes a tale of a similar journey of his wife, Christiana. It is regarded as one of the most important works of religious literature in the world after the Bible and one of the most important books of Western literature. It has never been out of print since it was first published in 1678.

The author, John Bunyan(1628~1688), was an English writer and preacher. He wrote many books on Christian faith. Yet he was mostly remembered as the author of The Pilgrim’s Progress.
