Marie Andrews suspects her husband is having an affair but as they are about to set off on a sailing holiday to Turkey keeps it to herself. While on a night passage she confronts him and he confesses. A row ensues, he slaps her and she falls overboard. Deciding that he would be better off if she died, as he wouldn’t have to sell and split the house and assets, he leaves her to drown. He returns home believing her dead but she has been rescued by a Turkish boat. She makes her way back to England to seek her revenge.
