“GwendolynJett Gattison is a native of Darlington, South Carolina.
She is a graduate of Florence-Darlington Technical College and
Morris College in South Carolina. She also studied at the University of
South Carolina. She is a wife to Jack Gattison and mother to Rion
Timothy Gattison. She is a member of the Pee Dee Coalition for health
care careers, a member of United Brethren in Action, and serves on
the advisory board for Administrative Office Technology of Florence-
Darlington Technical College. She has many affiliations and is an active
member of several civic, religious and social organizations. Gattison was
also the recipient of the 2009 “Women of the Year” award. She enjoys
reading, gardening, planning events, and serving humanity.”
