Though she never thought it would, romance finally finds Young Kate McGregor, who is torn between her conservative Catholic family background and the free spirited life style of her new found love. Soon her dreams start to blur with reality as she begins to explore her island romance.

Prelude
She found herself lying face down in wet sand. An overwhelming feeling of disorientation immersed her to her very soul. Looking up, she glimpsed a line of palm trees just beyond the beach. Slowly forcing herself to stand, she noticed she was wearing a wedding gown. After taking a few steps towards the trees, an ocean wave crashed into her from behind knocking her down to her hands and knees. Struggling to her feet again, she glanced about, trying to make sense of her situation. Something seemed vaguely familiar, yet nothing had congruity, nothing fit. Suddenly, instead of being fully dressed in a wet wedding gown, she was completely naked on the hot sandy beach. She wanted to find a place to hide, but now somehow she was further from the trees than before. She looked up and down the beach. It seemed deserted. She was alone, but still she felt self-conscience of her nudity. She explored the immediate shoreline hoping to find her gown.
Suddenly she spied a man just inside the trees. She crouched down in order to try to conceal herself. The figure turned towards her, but he didn’t appear to see her. He looked like a savage. His hair was thick, unkempt and dark. At the same time, he was masculine and sensual, well-muscled, and he too was naked. She felt anxiety and excitement at the same time. She looked for a way to retreat before he spotted her, but voices suddenly came from behind. A group of beach goers were fast approaching. The only thing she could think of doing was to make a mad dash for the trees. Running and keeping as low of a profile as possible, she found that the trees appeared to be even farther away now than before. Suddenly people were all around her, but nobody seemed to notice her or her nudity. Adults and children alike were all around her on the beach, playing in the surf, picnicking and having a good time. They were completely oblivious of her. How could they not see her? How could he not see her, the man in the trees, as he stepped out onto the beach? Any second she felt she would be discovered.
There was a sudden shuddering and an announcement blared over a loudspeaker. Kate quickly opened her eyes. The feeling of disorientation rapidly passed, but her heart was still racing. She clutched her book close to her breast as if she was somehow exposed. She was in the Sky Lounge of the Isle of Inishmore!
