Emily was passed from one home to another until finding herself placed in a residential home. Now Emily was eighteen and no longer in the care system she set about trying to find her parents. Nothing could have prepared her for the truth or the betrayal she would face. At times she would question her own sanity and there would be times she needed to trust others not sure if they were friend or foe.

NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR
I would like to thank those who purchased my ebook, and I would like to apologise for the errors. I am sorry the ebook had mistakes in it and would like to offer an explanation for these. The story was never intended to be published, it was written to keep me busy whilst my mum was dying. When it was my turn to sit with her she was often asleep and this story was a distraction from thinking about what was going to happen, my escape from reality. One day when she woke she asked me what I was doing. I explained it was just a story to lose myself at times. By now she was unable to read but still asked me to publish it as an ebook. I knew I was on a tight deadline so rushed it through, this meant no proof reading. Shortly after it was published she lost her fight with cancer and I never even gave the story a thought. A few days ago I received an email from a lovely lady telling me about my bad reviews and offering to clean the story up. After some thought I declined the offer and have chosen to remove the ebook when my KDP contract expires. For anyone who has purchased a copy I would like to say please don't feel you wasted the money, I intend to give it to the charity that helped deliver care in the last weeks of my mums life. I may in time feel I can face tearing the story apart and putting it back together again but I can't see it being soon.

Regards
A Williams
