The author has done a magnificent job of creating the world of the Tuatha De Danaan, the Druids and the humans who interact with them. She succeeds in making them so realistic, I found myself believing they really exist – and who knows, perhaps they do. Prince Breslyn is a magnificent hero, one to excite any female reader. But then, Julian MacTalbot is just as heroic. The author has given him very real fears and doubts, along with a background that becomes very real to the reader. This reader had a difficult time making her mind up between the Prince and Julian MacTalbot. Maxie is an absolutely wonderful character. The author has given her spunk, wit, and the ability to work through the most difficult situations imaginable. Her interactions with the Prince and Julian MacTalbot are realistic, her doubts and fears exactly as one would expect under the circumstances. The setting descriptions, along with the emotions depicted are wonderful. The author pulled this reader right into the scenes with
