“Guy Hewitt is a decorated undercover police officer, who after suffering the tragic death of his partner, is convicted of his partner’s murder.
Guy is innocent of this crime. However, his well intentioned but inexperienced attorney Gwen Aidem, loses his case and fails on appeal, sending Guy to prison.
Convinced Guy was set up, Gwen pursues the case to clear Guy’s name. Liliana Jacobs, a mercurial attorney and past acquaintance of Gwen, sees this as a bold career move and suddenly takes the case from under Gwen’s nose.
