Are you searching for a book to help you increase your overall understanding of music? Are you looking for fresh and creative ways to think about practicing, improving your ear, understanding chords, composing, sight reading and improvising? If so, this book is for you.

This is not a traditional music theory book. It is instead an excellent companion to one because it is different in a significant way. It deals less with the “what” of theory and more with “how and why” so you can go about learning and applying it immediately in your playing and practicing.

No matter what instrument or style of music you play this book will help you get to that elusive “next level.”
