"Heaven is Space... Up" is a fascinating story of two men researching the origins of religion. Their journey takes them down a road of shocking scientific discoveries into our shared ancient past. One man finds that primitive man's heaven is far beyond the clouds and his companion remains steadfast in his belief of a dogmatically based spirit world. One sees the matching evidence provided by science today and the civilizations in our ancient past. His theory is that religion's universal "up" theme proves space is inhabited by flesh and blood scientific beings. Our protagonist's vision is that humanity fate is to go "up" into the heavens. In his vision of the future, gold and the creation of intelligent robots are a necessary component to staying mankind's hand from oblivion. He presents the evidence to prove that religion's story is today's science. "Up and space" are what religion has deemed our heaven. In order to find the logical goal in achieving the immortality of our own species, we must recognize our path lay in the stars. Humanity must come full circle and recognize that religion matches today's science. At the climax of our truth seeker's path lay in what the aliens look like and why they have chosen to stay away from Earth today.
