Biryani is a unique rice dish that is relished by millions of people all over the Indian sub continent and the Arabian countries. The main ingredients are rice, meat, chicken, lamb, eggs, fish, vegetables, or beef. In a way it can be compared to the casserole dishes of the west where all the ingredients are assembled and cooked together.
