THE NIGHTMARE HUNTERS
EPISODE 3 - In which Axle and Victoria meet faeries.

Case File from the Archive of Dr. Samuel Anders: #0098-2715 “The Shoemaker”

“Upon my return from Peru, I was shocked and dismayed to find my home in a complete state of disrepair. After the entire disaster in Peru, I wanted to come home to my perfect, pristine sanctuary. That was not to be the case. Axle had previously warned me about his misfortune involving the Fae, but I had not expected to see such destruction, such disorder, such… dirtiness. Trunk and Axle managed to patch the holes in the drywall and put up a fresh coat of paint before I returned, but they hadn’t known about the protective symbols and runes that I had drawn beneath the paint… no, the entire wall had to be torn out and redone all over again – and the stains in the carpet! No amount of solvent can restore it to its store-bought condition; it needed to be replaced. It was tedious and frustrating, but then again, nothing is ever easy when it comes to babysitting a drunken leprechaun. However, the whole ordeal was quite worth it, as making allies with powerful spirits such as the Fae has proven to be quite useful over the years. They are a good source of information, although they tend to answer my questions in riddles and giggles. I only wish they weren’t so fickle – or violently temperamental.”
