After she is betrayed by her lover, Rachel recalls her past so that she can figure a way to survive the brutal onslaught of the Twelve. The Angels are willing to sacrifice their lives to stop the assault on Heaven, but they still believe Rachel is the cause of all the pain. Rachel has to fend off the swooping, attacking Angels while somehow convincing them that Valkyrie, the Blood Angel, is behind the threat.
The situation worsens when the rest of the Twelve attack. Rachel must fight off the shadow demon, the beastly vampire and the feared "Red Lady Ripper." All the while, the evil Valkyrie is still overhead deceiving the Angels and leading the Twelve. The war for Heaven will reach its ultimate conclusion…
