There are a lot of fad diets out there; some work, some don’t. In this book we examine the commonalities behind those that work and try to make sense of weight loss from the ground up. We explore the chemistry, biology, science and psychology of weight loss, explore several mysteries and myths and generally strive to understand the inner workings of the human body as it pertains to weight loss.

Note from the author: I’ve struggled with obesity my entire adult life. Only in the last year have I begun to make the connection that exercise and weight loss can be viewed as “hacking” the body. This one small change in mindset has set me on the path of drastic change. I’ve developed a healthy lifestyle based in science and I want to share that science with the world.
