THE MOTOR BOYS COLLECTION contains three 'Motor Boys' adventures published by the Stratemeyer Syndicate, best known for creating 'The Hardy Boys' and 'Nancy Drew' adventures. The Motor Boys form part of the "Boys' novels" genre, action and adventure books written for boys from the late 19th century well into the 20th century.

Set in the early 20th century, the Motor Boys have access to the newly-available automobile, and use it for all sorts of interesting adventures. Includes an active table of contents for easy navigation.

Clarence Young was a pseudonym used by the Stratemeyer Syndicate for a variety of Boys' novels, including The Motor Boys, Jack Ranger, and The Racer Boys series. Most of the Motor Boys books were actually written by Howard Garis (1873-1962), a prolific ghostwriter and author of the Uncle Wiggly series of children's books.
