Joshua is a calculated professional. In the world of contract killing, he's a surgeon, but the profession has left him alone, unable to enter into any serious relationships. The only friend he's been able to keep is Homicide Detective Gloria Tyler. As Detective Tyler begins tracking a killer she believes walks in Joshua's world, she reaches out for help. Both working hard to keep the lies straight and enjoy some sort of companionship. Soon, a death lottery sucks both contractors into a suicide run against a guild of assassins.
