Brad and Lee are good friends. They do everything together and are seldom seen apart.
They are totally different in character but compliment each other in many ways, so when they become privy to a secret it is not likely to be shared with others.
The secret is exhilarating, allowing them to go places and do things they never would have thought possible, but it is also a burden at times!
Much as they would like to share it with their families, they have been sworn to secrecy.
Their arch rivals will stop at nothing to gain access to the knowledge they suspect Brad and Lee possess.
Always exciting, sometimes dangerous, even life threatening, their lives will never be the same after the knowledge they have gained. They become very familiar with the easy parts of the secret without fully understanding the detail with the result that they are not prepared when something goes wrong!
One day they are shaken from their complacency by an event that leads to the loss of Brad’s dog! As tension builds between Brad and Lee over the loss, a rift in their friendship begins to open.
After a worrying period they both realise how much they depend on each other.
With their friendship restored they agree to return to the way things were before the secret.
In the second book in this volume; Commando, while living normal lives they find themselves mixed up in adventure of a different kind. They stumble across a crime being committed and are drawn into an extremely dangerous situation.
The secret is almost forgotten – but not quite. The knowledge gained is put to good use in extricating themselves from a very precarious position.
