"A Woman of Choice" is a charming love story, gracefully told, in a fresh and engaging setting!-Diana GabaldonInternational Best-selling Author of the OUTLANDER Series5 out of 5 Stars! If you like Nora Roberts with a twist, you’re really going to enjoy this book. Smart, funny and touching with enough heat to keep the pages turning, Tualla’s A Woman of Choice is a book you won’t be able to put down.-Dog-Eared Pages Reviews 5 out of 5 Quills! This was an absolutely amazing love story! The plot, the research, Tualla has it all and you will love every minute of it. Get swept up in this story, grow with her characters, and you won't want to leave them.-The Pen & Muse ReviewsThe Missouri Territory, 1819...A woman is viciously betrayed and abandoned by her unfaithful husband. She is rescued by a widower uninterested in love. In desperation, she becomes engaged to his best friend. One woman, three very different men. Life is about choices. I loved A Woman of Choice! I stayed up entirely too late to gobble it and get to the end. The characters were developed so well that they stayed with me, making me think about them well after I was finished reading.-Barb RileyAuthor of Eyes of the Beholder Speaking as a Norwegian, Kris has done a great job of capturing a non-demonstrative Norse male and his turmoil as he decides what to do with the feisty woman who is literally dropped into his world.-Michelle Gregory Author of Eldala A Woman of Choice was a fascinating historical read that turned out to be quite the page turner. Set in 1819, I was transported to an era that I don't usually read about. Sydney's character was funny, quirky and so unlike what a proper lady should have been. Sydney is just the type of strong character I love to see in a heroine. Nicolas was strong, protective and oh so yummy. Nicolas is a man that has been hurt on a very primal level and he does all he can to protect his heart, until Sydney comes along. I don't want to give away too much of the book because there are so many interesting and unexpected twists and turns. The romance between Sydney and Nicolas was certainly one of imperfection. They simply sizzled together. The ending is amazing and will definitely leave you wanting to buy the second book in the series. A Woman of Choice is certainly a book that is now on my keeper list. Kris Tualla writes an intriguing historical romance that is sure to sweep you off your feet. A must read!-Val PearsonI thoroughly enjoyed A Woman of Choice. The premise was fresh, the tension was everything I could hope for, and the characters were three dimensional.-Mona LeighI have been one of 'those' readers - you know the ones. Stuck on heroes from that 'other' country. Now I know better. Now I know that Norway is where the REAL men are from. Loved the book - great character development - good story flow - details that don't overwhelm. I'd say the only drawback is that it is too short, but that's not true either. Seems that Ms. Tualla has got two more of these lovely items up her sleeve.-Fay AdamsKris Tualla expertly tells of a woman's betrayal and her rebuilding her life. No matter what a woman's circumstances, her happiness hinges on her choices and her reaction to the results. Let Kris Tualla unfold her tale of A WOMAN OF CHOICE for you.-Caroline ClemonsABOUT THE HANSEN SERIES: In Historical Romances, there are countless "kilted warrior" stories... It's time for a new breed of heroes! Big, blond, buff and beautiful, with eyes the colors of seawater and the untamable blood of their Viking ancestors flowing through their veins. Do you feel it? The Hansen Men of Arendal, Norway ~ with stories from 1354 following the Black Death through the 1840's American west ~ are just such heroes.
