People are called to be so much more than they have become, and it is my desire that the following pages will enkindle a fire within your soul that will move you to action-an action that will unleash the greatness that our Lord has placed within you. Too many people are lukewarm and live in the middle. They become satisfied with mediocre because it is safe and does not require a great deal of effort or self-discipline to remain in that state. It is my goal that you become uneasy at remaining in this lukewarm state and take the responsibility to make the necessary changes to allow your talents and treasures to grace our Lord. As you read the following pages, your knowledge base will increase but will be meaningless unless you put the knowledge into action. It is what you do with the knowledge that makes all the difference! This book will require you to do some deep thinking that will take time. The thinking may even be painful and difficult at times, but, then again, all things worth anything require some struggle. Taking responsibility is a critical step toward realizing your talents and treasures, the gifts you have to give to the world that only you can give. So taking responsibility for everything you do will be one of the biggest challenges you will ever face. There are no excuses! Your life is the way you want it to be, or otherwise it would be different. To say, \"I don\'t have the time to incorporate these changes into my life\" can no longer be an excuse. Making changes is about establishing priorities and putting those priorites into your life on a daily basis.
