"Omigosh it's like Ali Baba and the forty sheep..." 'Diary of a Mad Gen Yer' is an anthology of poems, short stories, and blogs focusing on the antics of 21st century actress/heroine Fifi Larouche.  'Diary of a Mad Gen Yer' is sort of a prequel to Marcus Dino's smash earlier Hollywood novel 'Fifi,;  but in 'Diary' the  focus is more on Fifi's silly adventures, silly blogs, and silly poems as she struggles to find acting work in Hollywood.
Fifi Larouche is a graduate of a top liberal arts college who is determined  to make it to the top in the highly competitive world of 21st century Hollywood.  While making ends meet as a waitress and going to audition after audition to land any kind of acting role, Fifi meets all kinds of interesting people in both real life and her many 'dreams.'
The major characters in 'Fifi,' such as Biff, Fifi's on and off actor boyfriend, Charles, her domineering college professor father who feel she is wasting her time in.' La La Land' and should come back to her hometown of Des Moines Iowa to work as a banker, and Marissa, Fifi's roommate whom she considers to be one of her best friends, all return in 'Diary.'
'Diary of a Mad Gen Yer,' does introduce interesting new characters whom Fifi interacts with in her 'journey' as a struggling Hollywood actress such as Alocki, whom Fifi says is the most intelligent person she ever met and is actually an alien from another planet, Dirk a 'mod Englishman from the swinging London of the 60s,' whom Fifi meets in several of her dreams, Dick, a scientist colleague of Alocki's who finds it amusing that Fifi, a devout Christian, believes 'Someone designed and created her,' and 'Flifi,' Fifi's 'fairy tale counterpart from the 'Alternate Earth' who likes giving humans 'sound advice.'
'Diary of a Mad Gen Yer' is entertaining comedy fiction that appeals to all ages.

'Diary of a Mad Gen Yer' is an entertaining and fine read that will engage the readers from start to end.'
