Stacy can't tell Phil that leaving him three years ago was the best career move she had ever made, and that marrying a fellow actor right before he signed a big movie contract, and divorcing him shortly afterwards, was the best business decision she had ever made. Instead, she has to tell Phil a different story. If Phil believes it, Phil will come back to her. Getting Phil back is to Stacy like choosing which movie to produce. There has to be a good script.
