The starry footprints go on, closer together. I guess that you are slowing down, perhaps waiting for me. I hope for it. Looking up from the bright-starred footprints, I see nothing, only blackness of the shore against the dark trees. You’ve disappeared.
A small table nearly trips me. I look down, and see your bikini bottom atop it, held down by a conch shell. I smile, and slip out of my bikini bottom, placing it with yours. I spread my legs to the winds, welcoming their caress on my body, the way it cools my sex cream between my legs and covering my inner thighs. The excitement pulls a sigh from deep inside my chest. My heart pounds. I follow the star-laden footprints.
The beach turns seaward briefly, making a small headland jutting into the . Straining to see, it seems as if the beach turns left then, farther, turns right again to make a cove. I keep going, following the stars at your feet, and turn the corner.
My breath stops in me. Ahead, I see you on the beach, laying back, dark against the darkness. Waves rush into you, braking in white foam which licks up your legs. You lean back on your elbows, I see in the reflecting of white fluff from the ocean. Your head is thrown back to heaven. Your black hair hangs down, pooling on the sand. One leg, cocked, makes a pointed arch. The other leg, straight, wallows in the swirling foam and water.
You turn, rolling, flat now on the sand. Then you sit up, back arched, breasts offered to the skies. You are covered in thousands of the blue lights, captured in a universe wrapping around your curves. I see blue stars outlining your breasts.
You wait. For the waves? The wind? For me?
I walk close to you.
“Hi,” you whisper, turning your face to me. I see starlight glittering in your eyes. “I hoped you would follow,” you say in a soft voice.
