Ron Paul, a dark haired lad of Italian descent stood six feet two inches tall in his stocking feet. Feet that were size ten and a half. He weighed over two hundred pounds and was as gentle as a house pet. Ron Paul lived with his father Dom in a small town in Chicago. Rom loved his father, but like any young man wanted his own space. He had a girl, and because of his living arrangements, could not always be with her when he wanted to be with her. She was a good woman and understood that jobs were few and far between in Scarsbro and many of the towns surrounding them.

Dom knew the pain his son was going through and tried to assure him that times would get better. "Son, they can not get any worse." Then Dom would smile at his huge, robust, only child, adoringly.

But, Ron was determined. He had just turned twenty years old. When his father was twenty he had a career already and a baby on the way. " Times change son!" Dom would say. "You have to look on the bright side" " We got each other." " Just a little while longer." Ron Paul was young. He spent his days shooting hoops, and watching girls. He'd finished high school and did not know if he wanted to go to college. Many of his college freinds were in worst shape than he was right now. Ron made a decision and it was one that would change not only his life, but the lives of his family and friends. He would learn that nothing was as it seemed to be. He would learn that, Maria, his mother had died for no reason at all other than the lack of money. He would grow into a man under the worst circumstances imaginable and almost perish in the process. Riveting, heart breaking and sincere is the story of Ron Paul in Life Time.
