“From the Inner Heart – Illuminating Meditations on the One” has lovely, heartfelt poems reflecting on the mystical oneness of God. God is love, lover and beloved.
Each poem was ‘dictated’ to my inner heart over the years, taking 2 or 3 minutes to receive each one. “Colors” was the only poem that took longer for me to receive; that one was dictated over a period of 3 days. I knew which colors were going to be described to me and was excited as I waited to hear the words.
“Transform That Whirling Energy into Purity” was dictated to me along with some other poems while I was driving on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. It was not hard to write without looking, but when I wanted to reread them, I had to pull over.
“My Last Breath” and some other poems were written on the plane at New York’s JFK Airport while waiting for the plane to be de-iced for an international flight. It was not a casual thought that this could be the end of my life as the New Jersey Turnpike had been closed due to snowstorm conditions and the plane was hours late.
We are only a heartbeat away from our Maker. . . .
“‘From the Inner Heart’ is beautiful poetry of love and longing for the Almighty One. They are love songs to God from the depths of your heart. May they inspire and light the way for souls to commune with God.” Celeste Bliss
“This inspirational volume is a delectable morsel from Rose White’s heart to ours reminding us ‘We are all One.’ Her ‘kernel of truth’ has germinated from the Universal Source, thus linking her ‘evershining Light’ to sparks of light emanating from those also in tune with the One; In Lak’ech Ala K’in [Mayan] and Namaste [East Indian], into such poignant imagery, that all who read ‘From the Inner Heart’ are blessed again and again and again. Heaven’s smiling!” DLP, San Diego County,CA
“In these poems there is appreciation. That is something that is lacking so much in life. Also, the inspiration Ms. White had when writing these poems has been passed on to those who read them. Thank you from my heart. While reading 'Last Breath', I recalled a saying in the East: 'If God's name is not on each breath you take, you're wasting your breath.’” Jabbar JJ Williams
“Rose White’s poetry is life affirming and joyous. It grips you with the immediacy of life and God. Ms. White is generous to make these deeply personal poems available to us.” Betsy Weiss
