One of the prophecies that is fulfilled in the end times is the prophecy in Ezekiel chapters 36 through 42. These chapters describe the conditions and events concerning the State of Israel and the Promised Land at the end times and describe a war against Israel. These prophecies require that Israel be a nation and the Jews be returning to the land. The Scriptures specify the boundaries of the promised land, and these boundaries are given. They scattered the Hebrews or Israelites throughout the world in 70 A.D.,but God promised to bring them back to the land and to restore the state of Israel. Israel's establishment in May of 1948 was the partial fulfillment of this prophecy, and the Jews are returning to the land in large numbers. They are now fulfilling the second part of the prophecy.
