A fantasy-adventure-in-rhyme! Our main character, Oberon, is a fifteen-year-old orphan. He wants to avoid being drafted into King Ajax's army. After he escapes from recruiters, he is immersed in a world of war, politics, and magic. Dwarves, elves, werewolves, magic, love and combat, this story-poem has it all. It is done in a new "combination poetry" style that has good old quatrains blended with haiku, cinquains, senryu and more.
Here is a small taste of what a treat awaits you if you read the entire book: "...From inside the mountain, a giant bloodhound runs out. He has a sword cut, an arrow wound, and blisters from the fire. He licks the Dwarf King's hand and at Oberon he growls. Dwarf King looks up at Oberon, "He smells the werewolf in you, son. Wanna tell us about it?"
