A romance set in the 1960s. A young couple is vacationing in the mountains of Vermont. They stop in at a small hotel and go into the bar to order drinks before going upstairs to ... well, you know what. They see a bottle of wine on the bar and ask the innkeeper to bring them that bottle; but it is not for sale. The innkeeper starts to talk with them, and tells them the history of this particular bottle of wine - a bottle of the finest wine. As they listen to his tale unfold, their world changes and the flirtation which brought them to that place evaporates. Will something deeper take its place? - About 20 pages double-spaced on paper.
